Whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night.
3That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers. Psalms 1:2,3

As we enter the New Year 2016 I felt that this is a wonderful verse to look forward to. Let us meditate on the word of God. After Christ came the law is not there now for us. Let us not meditate the law that which brought death. But now meditate on the Finished work of Christ. Lets write down a list of things he has done for us to live a victorious life on earth. Meditate on it and renew our minds.

And as the verse says surely as we meditate on Christ there will be no dryness and bareness in our life. Christ will bring fruitfulness. Not as a publicity but as individuals we will be thoroughly watered and nourished to bear fruit all through the year.

Wishing you all a wonderful year ahead.

What a wonderful verse this is. This is love assured. For Christ died on the cross and forgave us already. When? Almost 2000 years before. Were we born then....... of course not! But this verse says he died and demonstrated his love to us.

So its time to challenge our thoughts. Christ has already forgiven our sins even before we were born. So what is it we have to do now...... are we confess every sin and worry about the sins not confessed? Are we to kneel and say Jesus come into my heart? What are we to do....... Nothing. He died and forgave us when we were yet sinners and he said its finished. All we have to do is to accept the truth that we are fully forgiven of the sins of our past, present and future and know that sin does not have any hold over us. We are no longer slaves to sin.

What a blessed assurance this verse speaks to us. We are forgiven unconditionally and completely by his grace and out of his love. All we have to do is to renew our mind and thinking and accept the truth...... no matter what he has forgiven me and has made me a new creation in him.

Do we have that assurance? Are we individually convinced in the core of our being about his love towards us? Meditate on his word and let his love permeate into your whole being bringing in the assurance that no matter what nothing can separate you from the love of Christ. You are his beloved. Have  a blessed day ahead.

What an amazing verse to look into and massage into our thinking. When the things of life screams and scares the strength out of us. Its this verse that boosts our self.

Its not in me to do all I want, but with Christ in me I can do all things that are needed out of me. Lets not get it wrong to think of just big ministries and super hero stuff. In the every day chores at home, at rough times with kids and when the tides of life hit the bottom......... still we have the hope that with Christ by our side we can do all things with joy and lead a joyful life spreading love to every single soul that we meet in a day.

Have a joyful day with great assurance that you are never ever alone but there is a friend ready to help you no matter the size of the issue you are facing. Enjoy life to the fullest.
